Print Ads:

Nissan Sentra 2005

This ad was not used for Joten Motors in the Northern Marianas Islands but I personally like it since it screams, "RED!" and focuses on the car and how much it would cost per month (what the target audience is interested in).

The local lifestyle themed ad format (see below) was used for the Nissan Sentra 2005 instead.

The two on the left were two local lifestyle themed ads that ran in the local papers of the Northern Mariana Islands.

Reel in a deal: because many locals like to fish

Smokin' deals: because many locals like to barbecue

You CAN Prevent Diabetes

I volunteered for the Diabetes Prevention & Control Program in the Northern Marianas Islands by creating this newspaper ad. The ad is still in circulation today.

According to the program director, their angle on diabetes prevention was modeled after Hawaii’s, “You can’t force them to change what they eat” approach. Thus, we decided on this message for the targeted audience.

In terms of design, I am a believer of the “white space.” Less is definitely more when trying to stand out in print absorbed publications.

I kept the message concise, and used language that would appeal to the target audience.

Uniforms:
This was a fun project for my previous employer, Cowabunga! Computers. My task was to find a uniform that comes in both black & white and female & male styles. I researched, requested samples and finally found these versatile shirts! I ordered them and then provided artwork (logo and car logo) to a separate vendor to do the embroidering.
Auto Decal Design:

This was an extremely fun and different project!

I designed the way this high visibility car looks. It is still seen all over Oahu, Hawaii when Cowabunga! technicians drive to their clients.

I actually took part in the actual application of the decals. Very fun project.

Others:
I have also designed Cowabunga! Computer's logo, giveaway pens, T-shirts, postcards, and print advertisement.
